How we bring your podcast to life

Our proven six-step process takes you from initial idea to a fully launched, professionally produced show — with ongoing support to keep your momentum going.

Our step-by-step process

Every great podcast starts with a clear plan. Here is exactly how we work with you from start to finish.

1

Discovery call

Everything begins with a conversation. During a complimentary 45-minute discovery call, we learn about your background, your goals for the podcast, and the audience you want to reach. We discuss your preferred format — whether that is solo commentary, co-hosted discussion, interview-based episodes, or narrative storytelling. We also explore your availability, budget considerations, and any existing brand guidelines that should inform the show's identity. By the end of this call, both sides have a clear picture of what success looks like, and we can determine whether we are the right fit for your project. There is absolutely no obligation at this stage — we simply want to understand your vision thoroughly before proposing a plan.

2

Strategy and planning

Once you decide to move forward, our creative strategists build a comprehensive podcast blueprint. This includes defining your ideal listener persona, crafting a compelling show name and tagline, designing cover artwork, composing original intro and outro music, and mapping out your first season of episodes with titles, descriptions, and guest suggestions. We also establish a realistic production schedule that fits your life or business calendar. For branded podcasts, we align the content strategy with your broader marketing objectives, ensuring every episode reinforces your key messages. You receive a detailed strategy document for review and approval before any recording takes place, so there are no surprises down the line.

3

Recording

With the plan locked in, it is time to hit record. You can visit our purpose-built studio at 7 Lei Shek Drive in Causeway Bay, where we provide professional-grade microphones, headphones, and a comfortable, acoustically isolated environment. If you prefer to record from home or another location, our team ships a pre-configured recording kit to your door and walks you through setup via video call. For remote interviews, we use double-ended recording technology to capture each participant's audio locally in full fidelity — no compressed internet audio. Our engineer monitors levels in real time and provides gentle coaching on microphone technique, pacing, and delivery to help you sound your absolute best.

4

Editing and mastering

Raw recordings are transformed into polished episodes by our post-production team. We remove verbal fillers, long pauses, background noise, and any sections you want cut. We balance audio levels between speakers, apply EQ and compression for a warm, broadcast-quality tone, and integrate your intro music, transitions, and sound effects. Every episode is mastered to meet the loudness standards required by Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and other major platforms (typically -16 LUFS for stereo content). We also generate accurate transcripts using a combination of AI and human proofreading, and write detailed show notes with timestamps and resource links. You receive a preview of each episode for final approval before publication.

5

Launch and distribution

Launch day is exciting, and we make sure it goes smoothly. We configure your podcast hosting, optimise your RSS feed with keyword-rich metadata, and submit your show to all major directories including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Amazon Music, Pocket Casts, Overcast, and more. We typically release three episodes on launch day to give new listeners enough content to binge and subscribe. Our team also prepares social media assets — audiogram clips, quote cards, and promotional copy — so you have a ready-made launch kit. If desired, we coordinate a launch email campaign to your existing audience and can advise on paid promotion strategies to accelerate early traction.

6

Growth and iteration

Launching is just the beginning. We provide monthly analytics reports that break down downloads, listener demographics, episode performance, and engagement trends. Based on this data, we recommend adjustments to your content strategy — perhaps shorter episodes perform better, or certain topics drive more shares. We help you build community through listener Q-and-A segments, social media engagement tactics, and cross-promotion with complementary shows. When you are ready to monetise, we guide you through sponsorship outreach, dynamic ad insertion, and premium subscriber models. Our goal is to be your long-term podcast partner, not just a one-time vendor.

Built for creators who mean business

Whether you are a solo entrepreneur, a corporate communications team, or a media company expanding into audio, our process adapts to your needs.

We have worked with first-time podcasters who needed hand-holding at every stage and experienced broadcasters who simply wanted reliable post-production support. Our modular approach means you can engage us for the full end-to-end journey or pick individual services — recording only, editing only, or distribution and growth consulting. Every engagement starts with a clear scope of work, transparent pricing, and defined timelines so you always know what to expect.

Our Causeway Bay studio is available for bookings seven days a week, and our editing team operates across multiple time zones to deliver fast turnaround without compromising quality. Most clients receive their edited episodes within 72 hours of submitting raw recordings.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about our podcast production process.

How long does it take to launch a new podcast?

For most projects, we can go from discovery call to published first episode in four to six weeks. This includes strategy development, branding, recording, editing, and platform submissions. Rush timelines are available for an additional fee — we have launched shows in as little as ten days when needed.

Do I need to come to your studio to record?

Not at all. While our Causeway Bay studio offers the best acoustic environment, many of our clients record remotely. We ship a pre-configured recording kit to your location and provide a video walkthrough of the setup. For interview-based shows, we use remote recording tools that capture each speaker's audio locally for maximum quality.

What does the editing process include?

Our standard editing package covers noise reduction, level balancing, removal of verbal fillers and long pauses, integration of intro/outro music and transitions, loudness mastering, transcript generation, and show notes. Advanced packages include sound design, custom music scoring, and multi-language subtitle creation.

Can you help with an existing podcast that needs improvement?

Absolutely. We frequently take over production for established shows that want to upgrade their audio quality, refresh their branding, or implement a more structured content strategy. We start with an audit of your existing episodes and provide actionable recommendations before beginning any production work.

How is pricing structured?

We offer both per-episode pricing and monthly retainer packages depending on your volume and needs. After our discovery call, you receive a detailed proposal with transparent line items — no hidden fees. Most clients find that our retainer packages offer the best value for ongoing production.

Do you handle video podcasts as well?

Yes, we offer video podcast production as an add-on service. Our studio is equipped with multiple camera angles, professional lighting, and a teleprompter. We handle video editing, thumbnail creation, and upload to YouTube and other video platforms alongside your audio distribution.
